How to get a driving license in Dubai?

There, they get classes and training for driving. After passing all the tests, the citizens will get a license with eligibility for two years. Eligibility Criteria For Getting A Driving License in Dubai, UAE

The eligibility criteria for getting a driving license in UAE for different categories are different. The eligibility criteria for all the driving license categories is the person should be medically fit and of legal age. The legal age for anyone to get a license is,

  • For Two-Wheeler Vehicles, 17 years
  • For Cars, 18 Years of Age

How to get an International Driving License in UAE?

 With IDL, anyone can drive in more than 150 countries worldwide. Everyone with an IDL can drive in any foreign country peacefully. The total cost to get an International Driving License is only 170 AED + VAT. There are different document requirements, one must have at the time of application submission for IDL.   3. Two Coloured Photographs of Applicant
  4. Valid Dubai Driving License Copy

Driving In Dubai:

Driving in Dubai is a daunting task. Dubai’s roads are always busy, and you have to keep your eyes on the road without involving in any other activity. To make it more understandable, we are enlisting some general rules and guidelines for driving in Dubai: 

Dubai Traffic Rules And Regulations:
  • The driving side is the right side of the road in Dubai.
  • Everyone in the vehicle must wear seatbelts.

    • For Urban Roads, the speed limit is 60-80 Km/h or 40-50 mph.
    • For Highways, the speed limit is 100-120 Km/h or 50-70 mph.
